Spring has definitely sprung in Niagara on the Lake - the vines surrounding our house are getting greener all the time !

New winery in town

Our most excellent neighbours, have been building their own winery. The name of the winery is Pondview Estates (check out their web site at at http://www.pondviewwinery.com/).

Getting ready for the summer !

We are very much looking forward to summer 2010. This year, we've been lucky, with the weather being so warm already.

The Shaw Festival has already begun here in Niagara-on-the-Lake (go to http://www.shawfest.com/ to get further details), and of course, the wineries are also prepared for the great times to come.

Something extra special this year for us: our neighbor, who owns the beautiful vineyards that surround our B&B, is in the process of building his very own winery ! That will make for a great experience: enjoy the views of the lush vineyards from your room, then go for a short walk to the winery and enjoy the products of those vineyards.
